Custom handmade staggered rails for a short or medium pickup bed. (See separate listing for a long bed truck.)
The 3 Staggered 4-inch Rails on the red truck pictured are made using heavy duty exterior 3/4" Baltic Birch plywood, stained with golden pecan stain and finished with spar urethane. We also make a 6-inch version. We will be happy to work with you to create your rustic wood rails for your pickup truck!
Your truck rail kit will consist of; 6 rails - 2 of each length, 8 stakes and 36 stainless-steel bolts. Detailed assembly instructions and a drill template will also be included.
Your rails and stakes will be routed, sanded, stained and finished with exterior oil-based spar urethane. Price posted is based on the Baltic birch rails in the picture.

You can pick the color of stain or paint for your rails. We recommend stain.
This is a kit; assembly will be required. The fit will be more accurate when you drill them as you assemble the rails. You will need a 1/4" drill to make the holes to fit the bolts and 2 clamps to hold the rails in place while you drill.
See picture for basic staggered design; our build will be based on the measurements you provide about your truck. We do not have specs for individual truck models. The most important measurement is the size of the stake holes. Measure so they will fit inside each hole and measure the depth of each hole.

A - Length of rails - measure from about 1 inch from the cab to the end of the bed.
B - Depth of stake pocket holes
C - Size of stake pocket holes - usually about 1-1/2" x 2"x 6" deep
Some older trucks are different, and each stake holes can also be different dimensions, please measure each hole.
D - Size of rails - 1 x 4 or 1 x 6 inch
